"TRANSFORMATION"
THEME DESCRIPTION: This year's theme takes into consideration all the changes that have taken place over the past years, the idea of transforming ourselves in the way we think, how we act, and who we are as individuals or as a community. Transformation of society or transformation of self and how this is perceived, in a creative sense, opens the doors for interesting interpretations and symbolism. Inspired by the idea of the caterpillar going from a belly crawler, isolated and alone, taking shape in a cocoon of her own protection or the protection of others and transforming into a magical creature able to rise above and fly free with a changed perspective on her own life and what she is capable of.
